Advanced Open Water

An AOWD diving course stands for “Advanced Open Water Diver” and is an advanced diving course offered following completion of the Open Water Diver course. The AOWD course builds on the fundamental diving skills and knowledge learned in the Open Water Diver course, allowing divers to expand their skills and accumulate new experiences.

During the AOWD diving course, divers can explore different specializations of diving such as deep diving, navigation diving, wreck diving, night diving, underwater photography, or drift diving. The course usually consists of a combination of theory units, pool or limited open water sessions, and open water dives.
