Abu Dabbab is located approximately 25 km south of Porto Ghalib and is a national park famous for its giant turtles. The beach will be reached by air-conditioned minibus.
At the colorful house reef of Abu Dabbab Bay, you can discover many different species of fish. The center of the bay is covered with a sea grass meadow, where giant turtles can be observed while feeding and relaxing, leaving our guests in awe.
The beach is perfect for relaxing and unwinding. It is equipped with loungers, toilets, showers, a bazaar, as well as a café and restaurant.
The Green Sea Turtle can grow to be between 60 and 140 cm in length and weigh as much as 185 kg. Females are typically larger than males. These turtles can live for up to 40 to 50 years and become sexually mature between the ages of 10 to 15. Green Sea Turtles mostly live alone, except during the breeding season. When they are young, they eat mostly meat, but as adults, they consume mainly plants.
